Personal Responsibility

Parents do you trust the teachers that work with your children. In my experience with very little exception you should. They are usually highly qualified and caring individuals, who only want the best for your child. Sometimes what is best is that the child not pass a test or a class is they haven't put the work in to get good grades. We need to teach our children that there are consiquences good or bad for every action. If a child doesn't want to do their homework because it is hard and you agree with them they have only learned that when something is hard they do not have to do it. If you talk poorly about the teacher to or infront of the child they take those opinions into class and will struggle the rest of the year.

When someone learns personal responsibility and takes it upon themselves to make sure that school work is done, and chores are done before playing or anything else they are empowered to have control of their own lives. They will have the confidence to complete any project and overcome any obstacle. Please do not take that ability away from your child.
